Our next Amicus dinner will again be at the OXFORD HOTEL in the Banqueting Room on Thursday, 5th November ( the old Guy Fawke's Night) 6 pm for 6.30pm..
Individual purchases...please confirm early as numbers are limited . ' Vertical drinking ' is still not admissible in pubs/other venues in SA despite our great success at keeping COVID 19 at bay..

Tonight I had the privilege of interviewing our Performing Arts Patron, Opera/ Cabaret singer, Johanna Allen on THREE D RADIO via Gillian Hunter and David Corkill who run the ARTS GARDEN programme each Monday, 6.30-8pm.
I also interviewed the CEO ( Helen Sheldon) of the upcoming November FEAST FESTIVAL...a season of burlesque, cabaret, drag shows, comedy,drama, inclusive church services, visual arts, poetry readings, writer forums, quiz nights, picnic events and much much more.
Both women oozed enthusiasm and passion
for the ARTS and were a delight to chat with..

Susan Ryan was indeed a parliamentary trail blazer in the area of women's rights in particular.
She had a sharp intellect and was an accomplished debater and panelist.
